Didier Sylvain is a transformational speaker, life alignment coach, and the Founder of The Presence Project. He helps individuals and groups become fuller and more integrated versions of themselves—so they can deliver powerfully on their missions. As a musician and former Deloitte consultant turned leadership trainer, he is intimately familiar with the tools, mindset, and methods needed by progressive creatives, coaches, executives, and HR professionals to elevate their impact.
Didier has coached and served as a leadership trainer in a variety of fields including media and entertainment, philanthropy, labor, healthcare, electoral politics, education, and the social sector. He has worked with numerous teams to facilitate effective team alignment and capacity building, helping those teams grow and deliver powerfully on their missions.
Throughout his career, he has worked with and through Good Wolf Group, Deloitte Consulting, WME, Lionsgate, Yahoo, Target, Blavity, James Beard Foundation, and many others committed to transformational change. Didier has also coached and taught on leadership at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Notre Dame.
Didier holds a M.S. in Public Policy and Management, with a concentration in social entrepreneurship, from the Heinz College of Public Policy and Management, as well as a B.A. in Economics from Boston College. He has completed post-graduate studies in Adaptive Leadership and Embodied Leadership, was trained in Co-Active Coaching at CTI, is certified to administer and debrief The Leadership Circle 360 assessment, and is a certified practitioner of sound healing and qigong. Didier was also selected for the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs and received doctoral training in Ethnomusicology at Columbia University.
With a voracious mind and an impactful presence, Didier continues to explore ways to apply his multifaceted background to his work with others. He is committed to advancing collective struggles toward healing and justice worldwide.
